Redundancy

Note: Can't remember the date - just picked a random date as close to the actual event as possible.

During a weekend I thought I would try to meditate the whole night. One of my friends said his brother had done it once. At first my body began to itch and hurt in a few places. I didn't give up and meditated on without moving. I then started to yawn violently, I tried to suppress that also.

At some moment, it felt as if my body had fallen asleep and I was still awake, meditating. My pulse and breathing had slowed down and I noticed that I could "think" outside of the body. I tried to pull myself out of the body in order to experience an OBE. I tried to rotate myself out of the body, lean out of it, levitate out and so on.. nothing seemed to be working (I was still stuck).

So I tried to visualize myself sitting about a meter to my right. I failed at visualizing it well enough at first, but after a while, I started to actually feel myself in two places simultaneously. I felt someone sitting to my right in the place I visualized myself sitting. At the same time, I also felt myself sitting where I had visualized myself sitting and someone sitting to my left. I got confused and didn't recognize that it was me (realized it a few days after the experience) sitting right next to me and I asked in my mind: "Who are you and what are you doing there?" I thought it weird that I received absolutely no response from him.

I thought "Whatever", woke my body up (it seemed somewhat confused about me waking it up at the middle of the night) and went to bed.

First success at PK

Note: The actual date is unknown, so I picked a date that more-or-less fits.

I had been practicing PK for maybe 1 month + a week or so and I decided to try grounding and centering for the first time. I grounded myself before starting practicing.

Put up a block of notepapers on the corner of an old computer monitor. Made sure that all the windows and doors were closed. Put my hands close to it, got the feeling of the paper-block and induced the feeling of one of its corners leaning down. Nothing happened.

Grounded myself again, this time I felt a great psi pressure building up from my feet to the top of my head. I probably did this too fast, because it hurt my head a bit. The pain gradually went away and a fountain of psi formed out of the top of my head.

I tried PK once more and induced the feeling of a corner of the block of notepapers leaning down - I wanted the notepapers to drop to the floor. It twitched slightly, but it was difficult to make it move exactly how I wanted it to move.

I grounded myself again and this time the psi pressure was so great that I felt ground shaking under my feet. I tried again and this time got it move in the right direction. I managed to keep the previous feeling of moving it down and induced another feeling of it leaning down onto the previous one - it moved twice as much as it did before.

I pulled my hands away from the paperblock and tried again. To my surprise, I was able to lean the paperblock down just as I was able to do it with my hands (it was just easier to start with the hands first). I then took a few steps away from the block of papers and it still moved almost the same way. Couldn't get it to fall off the computer screen, but it moved down for about 1 cm.

I couldn't believe it, walked around in circles for a few seconds, opened all windows and inspected the movement of the paper-block again. It moved almost the same way it did with the windows closed - so, it could have been wind. As the windows were closed during the practice and the paperblock moved more-or-less the way I visualized it move, I guess I could call it my first successful attempt in PK.

After this day, I forgot to practice PK again. A few days later, I tried it on the curtains in the bathroom and I could still slightly move the curtains with my hands 1 cm away from them.

First near-OBE

Note: Can't remember the date - just picked a random date as close to the actual event as possible.

I was really tired of a long and exhausting school day. I was so tired that I
was just staring at the mirror in front of my bed without any thoughts - nearly sleeping. After some 30 minutes of glaring into the mirror, I finally thought I should go to bed. I lied down on my back hoping that I would be able to meditate or something.

In fact, I fell asleep right away and had a strange dream: I was standing in darkness - there were only the dresser with the mirror and some friend of mine (couldn't recognize - it's just that he felt like a friend, but a stranger at the same time). He pointed at a memory of mine (my mother had told me that according to feng shui, there should be no mirrors in front of the bed) and remembered it to me.

I said: "I don't care, I can just cover it with a sheet of cloth. I don't need it anyway, because I'm the best mirror for myself." He was inspired by what I had said and wanted to give me a gift. He disappeared while I stayed in the same darkness and started having some weird sensations. I started hearing faint whizzing sound in my head. Slowly it became louder and after a while it felt like there was snow crunching in my head. The area that I felt and hear the sound and vibrations in, grew larger and larger. It slowly started to become unbearable. I was thinking - this can't be good, there must be something really wrong with my body. However, the friend told me not to worry and to just bear with it. It already felt as if my brain was boiling with my whole body shaking and I thought that there's probably coming white foam out of my mouth and that maybe there is something really messed up in my head.

I stopped it, entered my body real fast and ran a full check on everything starting from simple calculations and ending up with trying to move all of my muscles. My body was totally healthy and in fact, the body actually felt a lot better and healthier than ever before. This was simply one of the most weird experiences I had ever had. I googled the feelings in the next few days, found out that it was called OOBE or OBE. Googled for OBE and found PsiPog - it was a dream come true.

It took me 3 weeks or so to figure out that PsiPog was actually already abandoned though. There was a new forum that I found a link to: A Little Weird. Though, at the time of writing this, registration to the forum of ALW had been closed as well.

First construct

Note: Can't remember the date - just picked a random date as close to the actual event as possible.

Having joined the Robotex team of the University of Tartu (still being in the 11th grade of a grammar school), I had a lot of wires to solder together with heat shrinking isolation tubes applied. Since there were no heaters around, I used the soldering iron to heat the isolation tubes. I didn't like it, because there was always the possibility of me ruining the tip of the soldering iron by accidentally moving it too close to the isolation tube. So, I avoided using the tip of it for heating, but it was still a nasty job, as the soldering iron started to smell awfully, when I accidentally hit the tube with it (the plastic / rubber / whatever it is, melted onto the surface of the soldering iron).

Then, a couple of days later I suddenly noticed that when I visualize the feeling of the soldering iron repelling off the tube, I'm able to keep it at a constant distance from the tube. It soon felt as if the iron were pushed away from the shrinking tubes so strongly that no matter how carelessly I stuffed the soldering iron into a bunch of wires, nothing melted.
