Out of options

I think more or less the only way for me to become immune to diseases again as well as to find a bit of happiness again is meditation, psychokinesis and spiritualism in general. Need to maintain celibacy while collecting sexual energy up to higher chakras, in order to relight them.

I think I've seen the opposite path somewhere before (probably in a dream). In that alternate reality, I failed to overcome depression in time .. and the pandemic got to me. Dad wasn't too happy, so maybe it wasn't a very good idea. Also, I suspect that I've received quite a bit of training and teachings (for some unknown responsibilities in the future) which would be sort of wasted in such a scenario.

On the other hand, the path of spirituality would again mean that I would lose enthusiasm and motivation to do anything in this material world. Throughout the years I've been trying to figure out a workaround but I don't think I've found any. On the contrary, depression due to the lack of spirituality has had the same effect - enthusiasm and motivation are more and more difficult to come by.

Due to the pandemic, any attempts to fit in as a more-or-less normal person have been rendered futile. Spirituality seems to be the only option, even though it's rather selfish.

Occasionally things in my room have started to make loud crackling sounds again. There are waves of heat propagating up the body, sometimes I feel somewhat floaty and I've started to feel things which I see or hear again.

Dream: Speed-flying

A couple of nights ago, I was coming home from the town center. I tried flying as fast as I could .. by becoming weightless and then pulling myself from different objects. I found that I could keep holding onto an object even if I had already flown quite far from it. I tried to make a sharp turn by holding onto a traffic post about 100 or 200 m behind me. The speed was too much for me to control, and I crashed into the lawn. While reckless, it was a lot of fun.

Gas stove

Yesterday evening I sometimes felt someone or something breathing onto my neck. When I turned around, there was nothing behind me.

Woke with eye pain again. It took time before the eye drops started having any effect. Consumed some garlic, just in case.

Dream: Gas stove

Last night I saw a lit gas stove three times throughout the dreams. The first two times I tried to switch it off because it was dangerous. Each time more of the burners were lit than the previous time. The third time I smelled something burning, went to the kitchen and saw all the burners fully lit. Since I had switched it off several times already, I figured that it had to be a dream. So, instead of switching it off, I cranked all the burners up to the maximum and visualized the effect on the energy channels in the body. Then cranked the burners back to how they were.

A book and a photo

Had a couple of interesting dreams.

Dream: Book

I had written a book and had my aunt review it. Contrary to what I would've expected, she fixed issues with equations and improved phrasing throughout the book. I was really surprised. We looked through most of the changes together. Some of the words I had not even seen nor heard of before.

The dream was vivid enough for the text and equations in the book to seem more-or-less reasonable.

I liked the fact that regardless of the content, the book was printed on humble yellowish paper.

Dream: Photo strip

I looked through some stuff. There was a photo strip. I noticed that for as long as I looked at it, the photos remained constant. Whenever I looked away and back again, the photos changed. I tried rotating the photo strip upside down, which caused only a slight change in the photos. This way I could look at the same objects with a slight difference in time or from a slightly different angle.

I realized the potential and wanted to show it to dad who was sitting to my right. I described the procedure to him, and wanted him to see the same effect. Unfortunately though, he could not retain stable concentration for long enough to see the effect. His mind slipped off the photo strip, causing it to lose any coherence with the previous set of photos.

It felt as if I had stepped over the line of what was allowed in the dream. I slipped the photo strip into my left boot. A 3-letter agent showed up in a military car, took the boot and started looking for the photo strip. All he got from the boot were some old doodles and pieces of writing on cheap yellow-brown paper. He could not find anything of value, and retreated to the claim that I had allegedly acted against the integrity of the dream. Eventually he settled on a small fine which I agreed to pay if he really considered it necessary. I told him that I did not have any cash on me, but I could pay by card. He only accepted either cash or some form of mobile payment. Knowing the capabilities of my phone, I told him mobile payment wouldn't work. He kept trying but for some reason he didn't get it that card would be the only way. It seemed as if he didn't have enough concentration to finish what he had come to do. He tried to take us somewhere but his dream faded before he could manage to get anywhere.

Thinking back on the photo strip today morning, I considered the similarities of the photo strip experiment to quantum computing. Then Ragnar Tornquist's video game series Dreamfall Chapters came to mind again. Quantum computers based on people's dreams.

Alt dreams

Eh, it seems I've forgotten some of the dreams while waiting for the opportunity to utilize my wonderful spheres of vision and fingers of graceful code in order to convert the memories into records.

On Saturday had a chat with Dad and he referenced some rumors regarding Mt. Kailash. I looked up some pictures of it and found that it's a common destination for pilgrimages.

Dream: Waterside mountain

In one of the dreams I climbed some kind of a mountain which was just next to a large water body. It was early morning and the weather was nice and calm. Eventually made it to a plateau with some welcoming tablets with information for people on a pilgrimage. Contrary to my expectations, the plateau was packed with people, so I poofed.

Dream: ...

Have forgotten what this dream was about, but it took place at the summerhouse. A happy family kind of a dream. What I do remember is that I realized I could float around without effort again. A typical milestone in these kinds of dreams is the ability to open doors without "stepping off the nimbus" at the doorsteps.

Dream / OBE: That awkward wave

I was walking towards home from some odd direction (I thought I was coming from school or something). It was early morning, around the time of sunrise (no idea about the season). The sky was clear, the air was still and it was nice and quiet. Everything about the environment was very vivid. I heard the sound of wet asphalt under my boots, I felt the slightly cool air on my skin. I think I was wearing brown coat and had a brown shoulder bag.

Everything seemed real as far as I could tell, except for the fact that I felt completely at peace.

I was about to cross a road between two apartment blocks when I noticed a car approaching from my left. I considered waiting for the car to pass (my usual behavior) but on a whim decided to float into the air and let the car pass by from underneath.

I think it was a dark red car with nothing particular about it. There was a lady in her 50s or 60s driving it with no other life forms in the car. She had the driver side window down to vent the smoke from her cigarette. Right after I had floated over her car, she stopped the car diagonally across the road and let out a whistle of surprise.

I tried to wave to her but the roof of the car blocked the view. It was a kind of wave with the hand below my feet, attempting to reach low enough that she might see it from one of the passenger windows but I didn't think it worked.

Descended for a moment without touching the ground and took up both speed and altitude in the general direction of my home (or so I thought). While at it, I could hear her footsteps following me at a distance. While flying up at greater speed, I think the realism of the experience faltered. I wanted to experience the cool breeze a bit more, so my coat vanished and I continued flying with just a t-shirt flapping around in the wind.

Woke up a bit disoriented. It was about 3 AM, dark, cloudy and wet outside. Took a small amount of TheraFlu.

Bain

An interesting podcast from Bob Bain, again.

While the terminology seems a bit strange, a lot of what Von Braschler says, also matches my experience.

Phone call

Paid a visit to the conveniences (convenient because it's at home, and it's for free, too!). While there's nothing remarkable about that, I got a phone call while in there. I thought it can probably wait until I wash my hands. The call stopped after just a few seconds (not common among my acquaintances). Checked the number after I had washed my hands. Unknown number but from the same country, at least. Tried to call back ... "the dialed number is not in use". Hmm..

Just a post

with some random stuff before I forget them. Just for the record, the post is from Finland.

Speedwalking

I think it was at the end of last week that I thought I was too late for the bus to work which I have usually taken (departs at 7:50). I think I started at around 7:34 but I decided to take a walk anyway because the next bus (departing at 8:20) would also be fine (just wouldn't leave a margin). Considering that I have managed to cover the distance in about 25 - 35 min, there was plenty of time for the 8:20 bus. Due to this, I did not hurry. Once I reached the bus station, I still saw the 7:50 bus. Checked the time, it was 7:50. Then some guy went past me, running for the bus. If he hadn't, then I wouldn't have chosen to bother the bus driver because of me being late. Anyway, got on the bus and then started to wonder how it was possible that I had suddenly made my record (16 min) without even trying. My previous record was 21 min and then I was walking as fast as I could. Throughout the walk I was in my thoughts and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

Lightstepping

On Wednesday night, I had trouble sleeping again. Woke up during the night to wash the blanket with tears and apply eye drops. I really enjoyed the days when I didn't have to do that. Might be that the air is too dry.

Anyway, drank some water and went back to bed. Had an LD or OBE where I was walking past some houses with all sorts of fences. I figured I was lightweight enough to walk on top of the fence. Jumped there, and practiced lightstepping to avoid any damage the fence. It was a lovely morning and the weather was nice and sunny. In the yard of one of the houses, there were people chatting .. though, I was probably unnoticeable / invisible enough.

Sometimes there were low-hanging tree branches on top of the fence, so I shrunk myself to fit underneath.

Reached a place with some trees, flew up and touched the branches and leaves. It was awesome, I could feel them roughly the same way as I did with the physical body. Simply the dimensions of my arm / hand were now arbitrary and defined by visualization.

Not sure whether this was an OBE because I did not have 360 deg vision (it was closer to how I see with the body) but then again, I never really tried to have wider FoV. While I did have a form, it was not very underdefined and I couldn't see myself. The environment was very vivid and detailed.

Another suicidal on Discord

Instead of actively trying to "help" (in other words, "make things worse"), I sometimes simply visualized sitting next to him. No words, no intent, just sitting. The visualization was not very concentrated but I hope it helped at least a little.

At some point I could no longer feel his presence, but it reappeared again in the evening. Since then I've had the feeling that I cannot do any more.

While thinking about it, my aunt called. She's obviously a bit depressed due to the lack of social interaction. She needs to chat all the time but since moving to a different farm, she has been rather lonely. Anyway, discussed the psychology of depression with her, too.

Evening discussion

Yesterday visited a discussion evening on lucid dreams, virtual reality and stuff. Visited it out of a sense of responsibility because an acquaintance was conducting the evening (respect). A lot of colleagues (and bosses) were there ... might be a small chance of finding a "fan club with torches and pitchforks" at the front door. Luckily hasn't happened yet.

Anyway, following the evening, I couldn't sleep too well. Too many thoughts rushing through the mind. Managed to fall asleep for a few times, had to wake and drink a glass of water, then the cat came to wake me and eventually the morning alarm joined, too.

Had a couple of noteworthily queer dreams.

Dream: Place occupied

Popped up at the old barn building next to the summerhouse, planning to spend the night there. Knocked on the window, opened the door and found that uncle was already there with his family. I looked for a spot where I could fit but found the rest of the space somewhat dusty and messy, so I left.

Dream: ShinyPants

I left back towards where I had come from .. the town. Accounting for a few issues that I've previously had with my looks in the dreams, I ensured that I didn't have trousers on pants this time. I did not, but for some reason, I had some shiny pants .. maybe because they looked totally ridiculous. I didn't care.

Passed a bus stop (which was to my right) where I saw the same acquaintance who had conducted the discussion evening. I waved at him, he waved back .. preparing to go back to where he had come from.

Stuff

Woke tired but still managed to have reasonable progress at work, or so I thought.

Just leaving this here:

Gena

Unexpected sequel to the dream with the crocodiles and echo.

Crocodile Gena post stamp about as old as me,
public domain image "stolen" from Wikimedia.
The pic just is .. none of this is actually related to crocodile Gena.

Dream: Echo vol 2

This one was more meta and more absurd. Everything took place in my mind while I was in the corridor at the summerhouse.

I was one of the astronauts in a manned mission, waiting for launch. In addition to at least 3 astronauts, there was also a rather sophisticated payload on board.

There was some kind of an invisible omnipresent entity telling me about this payload. The shape and size (in reference to the cat's question from previous post) was not mentioned, so in my mind I pictured it as a generic small golden orb. Anyway, it was supposed to be exceptionally sensitive to speech and we were asked not to speak anything before we would reach the orbit.

To me it did not make any sense because during a rocket launch there's plenty of noise throughout the spectrum. So I broke the rule right away and asked about it with voice. Something happened with the device and I was pulled away from the rocket. I found it interesting that despite the fact that it had asked me not to speak anything, the omnipresent entity did not mind the fact that I did.

I wonder what this is about, and why voice is prohibited. What is it about sound that gives it power within the dreams? To be honest, the previous dream with little Genas chasing me seemed to have made a lot more sense.

Just the day

Nothing to do with the dream anymore. Just a colleague giving a lecture on structure design, structural analysis for rocket launches.

Missed an "important" event because I forgot to double-check its location.

Yesterday I passed by dad's apartment and wished I'd meet him. I did not. Then last night I noticed I had a missed call from dad. The time was about the time that I had passed by his apartment. I simply hadn't noticed him calling. I might have even heard something but I thought it was just the radio from somewhere nearby. For some reason, I rarely notice phone calls while walking.

Dragon

About 13h workdays. Cooking and grading students' homework took long. Went straight to bed right after.

Interesting dreams.

Dream: Dragon in the woods

Me and a group of others were hiking in the woods. People started going missing. We found that there was a dragon of some sort in the woods, which caught its prey and then hung the bodies up between the tree branches. A rather gruesome display. As I couldn't figure out a reason for it to do so, I was puzzled. Barely managed to keep away from its grasp. There was no fear in this dream, only confusion about such a strange creature and its behaviour.

Never before have I seen a dragon in the dreams.

Dream: New friend

A bunch of new trainees and students. Happened to walk through the town with one of them, so for simplicity I'll refer to him as a friend. While otherwise normal (seemed human), he had the brown eyes of a plush toy.

Passed a school at a time when a lot of kids were leaving for home. We were suddenly surrounded by so many kids that it seemed somewhat overwhelming.

A while later, the friend got to his place (a dorm).

Lucid dream: Pk while walking home

Waved goodbye to the friend and headed home. While walking home, I played with psychokinesis a bit. Tried levitating but I was too heavy, so only managed to reduce weight a bit. This allowed me to jump higher, grab and hold on to things that have typically been out of reach. For example, the veranda roofs of some buildings.

Also played around with the wind. I think it was autumn, as there were a lot of yellow leaves scattered on the ground. If it were early spring, the leaves would've been brown. Anyway, flew those leaves around, formed small vortices and sped up my walking speed by pushing myself forward with the wind. With all the details, the environment seemed quite realistic.

Hmm .. today one of my aunts asked what color were my eyes. Probably some genetics analysis school project that her kids have to work on.

Clips of dreams

Although I've forgotten most of the dreams from the past couple of weeks, there have been a few things that stood out.

Quote out of context

I've forgotten what the dream was about, and what was the context. Just me and some other family member in the kitchen at the summerhouse. I think the other family member told me: "If you hold the world, then the world holds you".

I think I was embarrassed for them to have to tell me something this obvious. Probably that's why I'm not sure if indeed the family member told me that, or I told this to the family member.

All in all, it doesn't matter, for the quote asserts the importance of attitude towards everything.

New apartment complex

I was flying across the large pavement square next to the stores when I decided to check out a new apartment complex that was being constructed somewhere.

It appeared as an overlay behind the pavement square. A straight path through a bunch of trees, and then the apartment complex was at the end of the path, on the left. The new path and the apartment complex had a golden shine to it, like the astral counterparts of objects (and people) often do.

I touched the pavement gently (so much so that I was impressed as well), and started walking towards the building. For me, the only thing that really stood out about the dream was the way I touched the ground. The pavement looked wet and littered with tiny shards of glass and I was in socks. However, it seemed that it did not matter because of the attitude with which I touched the ground. It was the attitude that made all the difference.

Grandpa, the other one

I was having a chat with the grandpa that's still alive and well. At some point he said he was moving.

In the dream I was like: "Oh, that's nice". Me after waking up: "Wtf, this is ominous". The thing is, at his age moving apartments would be very unlikely.

Though, I'm glad that he and my sister now get along well again. Mom told me something interesting though: "She's similar to grandpa's mother. He did not get along too well with his mother." The way I see it, this hints at reincarnation again.

Non-standard dreams

Went to bed after returning from a sauna evening yesterday. I think my hair was still a bit moist as I left, which might have triggered the second dream.

Dream: Astronaut

For the first time I got to experience being launched to low earth orbit with a rocket, in a dream, though. An awesome experience. At some point during the ascent, the dangers dawned on me, so I started a thorough observation of my emotions and thoughts. The launch was flawless, and got to observe the Earth while floating around weightless.

Dream: Attempts to fix the roof

It was a nice and calm weather, so I went to fix the roof of a building. As a temporary solution, the roof was covered in a plastic film. As the first thing, I removed the film. But then I thought that I could do it better. Rewound and tried it again, then again. Each time that I redid it, it became more windy and it was more and more difficult to even reach the same quality as I did for the first time.

All in all, due to seeking quality beyond what I could achieve without trying, I failed to fix the roof.

Dream of flight

A summary, written during fast times.

Too much media. Probably family will be pissed about me not notifying them about my appearances.

One morning I saw through the closed eyelids again, with a matrix of light overlay. As I opened my eyes, I still saw the matrix for a couple of seconds or so before it faded away.

Yesterday I had the chance to meet a mind that thinks alike. He had not done as much research and was a bit reckless but it's rare to find people with enthusiasm about the taboo topics such as UFO, ZPE, anti-gravity and so on.

Yesterday I put forth some effort to compensate for my sleep deprivation. Today morning I fancied flying in dreams. Flew around a bit, enjoying the freedom. Woke into another dream, still desiring to fly .. realized I've been practising it wrong .. and flew across the street. Saw my supervisor and decided to descend next to him for a quick chat. Walked home, and he transformed into father, I think.

I wish I would become fluent in flying around on all layers of dreamscape. Of course, including this one that they call reality.

Edit: Recently I've also found a lot of power from folk music. Wardruna, Hu and the like. Similar to what uncle's band used to produce.

Waning moon

Shikantaza

Inspired by O12, tried something similar to shikantaza last night. Picked a stressed region in the body and observed whatever it was that went through the mind. Once I had relaxed the body and the regular mind, I went deeper. Then deeper again. Then cat jumped on my stomach, startling me out of this meditation (the cat is heavy).

The cat also wanted to enjoy meditation. It took me a while (perhaps 15 min) to relax again.

I've found that it helps when I focus on the space around me. Need to spread the consciousness enough so that I would have a background viewpoint without getting absorbed in the arising emotions or images. When relaxing a region within the body, I anchored the "secondary attention" around my back, sides and in front of me. The more the volume and distance, the stronger the anchor. However, it needs to have enough density to be of help. When relaxing the mind, I spread it out on a plane just below the layer of mind that I was relaxing.

Cat: Wake up, wake up, look up there

"What now-Oh"

A large waning moon (according to https://www.moongiant.com/phase/today/, 7%) right in front of me. Felt quite mysterious. Imagine the feeling of being alone in the world with the moon and a cat (everyone else is sleeping). I wanted to sleep but apparently the cat kept staring at it until it descended behind some buildings just before the dawn. Man, the cat is better at Trataka than me.

Got a lot of very short deep cycles of sleep.

Dream: Pk camp

On Thursday morning I had a dream where I woke up to some voices outside. Waltzed to the balcony and looked down. A British master teaching psychokinesis to a small group of people (5 - 6) that were sitting around him in a half-circle. Recognized the master - I had seen him teaching somewhere before .. but I was surprised to see him in the back yard.

I would've wanted to go down and listen to him as well, but I had barely any time before going to work. So, I tried to pack my things as fast as I could, and get down there.

Wrong approach, dreams don't work that way. Should've sat on the balcony and listened to him from there.

Dream: Gliding around

Jumped down from a bunch of rocks that started emitting wasps, and floated. The ground looked slippery and dangerous, so I visualized a sledge. The sledge eventually broke into pieces. Flew back, landing every now and then to gather the pieces (wouldn't want to litter the environment). I was happy about the flying, it always lifts the mood.

Dream: Herb store

Wandered through the town, looking for someplace to eat. All of them were ridiculously expensive. Eventually got to a small store where they sold some eco stuff. I consider myself educated enough to know that "eco" = "ridiculously overpriced". I looked around, until the lady at the counter asked what it was that I would like to have. I selected something, and witnessed the peculiarities of the dream body again - touching something was the same as smelling, tasting and eating it. It was something made of mint and whenever I touched it, I felt mint throughout the body. I was embarrassed by my manners - eating something off the counter and not even paying for it.

The dream seemed very vivid up until the moment when I touched the object. The dream deterioriated soon after.

Wise dude

Had dreams with a lot of symbology this morning. I want to believe that I remember at least most of it.

There was at least one more dream that I can't recall at the moment. Met someone and discussed something in there.

Did something quite out of the ordinary today. I took a warm bath and a cold shower. The bath made me question if I was suicidal, because the weather is still warm as well - overheating imminent. An interesting cleansing ritual.

Dream: Path around a mountain

Not actually from today morning, but from Friday morning.

I was jogging up a mountain. The path spiraled at a slight slope around the mountain. It had been raining heavily and the path was wet. It wasn't slippery even though it looked like it might be.

Noticed a pretty landscape down below, and thought whether or not it would be a good idea to go and enjoy it from down there as well. It was a farm with fields of flowers, all of which were soaked in the slight flood. Regular flowers but what made them special in my eyes was the fact that regardless of the flood they still looked pretty. No, perhaps even more pretty because of the flood. Anyway, the flood made the flowers special.

Right next to me there were stairs leading down to the farm. All the steps were wet and looked slippery.

Another person came up the stairs. I asked if there was another path that led anywhere from the farm. The answer was "No, it's a dead end". Thanked them, and took the detour down to enjoy the flowers from a different perspective as well. Got down quickly, luckily without slipping.

Dream: Cleaning sister's room

Apparently the farm / flowers symbolized sister's home somehow (she's looking for one). Looked around the building, carefully entered her room and observed the mess. Helped another entity to clean it a bit.

Actually, the past weeks I had several dreams where I also cleaned my workplace and my home.

Dream: Visiting some wise dude

Our turn had come, so together with someone (on my left), we stepped up the stairs, passed through a couple of gates to enter a palace of some sort. On the top, there was a small monolith building with a roofed patio. The wise dude was sitting on a chair right next to the building. A typical man in his 40s or so, outgoing, energetic, caring but lax about all sorts of fashions and customs. He was dressed in dark blue (blue jeans, blue T-shirt without anything on it). I guess what made him special from the rest of the people around there was that he always moved with the flow. His energy felt very "fluid". It was customary to shake hands with the wise man, and that alone was believed to be a great blessing for all the times to come.

Out of my ignorance, I did not know the customs. The person on my left had brought me here, whereas I had always been skeptical of everyone that's praised to the high heavens. Regardless, I greeted the wise man with an awkward "Your very highness" and bowing, after which I observed what the person on my left did.

He/she shook hands with the wise man. So did I, with my right hand. The wise man said "you gave me both your hands," probably indicating that I was alone and there really was no other person that had come together with me.

Thanked the dude and went back down the stairs. To me, the wise man did not seem all too special. Perhaps this was because he treated everyone as equals and I did feel as an equal.

Dream: Ritual

After visiting the wise dude, we were expected to join a ritual dance. People formed a circle, and everyone had their designated place in the circle.

Out of my ignorance, I just took a more-or-less random place (no. 3, I guess). It was indicated that I had taken the wrong place (was expected to take place no. 20 or so), but it seemed that it wasn't a big deal anyway. I just had to adapt my energetics a bit to fit into the place that I had picked almost at random.

Once all the people were there, we had to start dancing while moving counter-clockwise around a circle of pillars. Although there was a specific kind of dance that others performed, out of my ignorance I did not know how to dance that. I barely had anyone in front of me to copy, so I just danced whatever and it seemed that it did not really matter that much. Gradually it became better and better anyway.

There were more than 20 pillars, and it seemed that prior to the ritual, people had prayed at each of the pillars to apply a specific feeling to each of them. This formed something like a rotating dharma wheel where for a limited time, each of these fundamental feelings "shone" on the life of the dancer.

For me, the dream ended when I looked more closely at the feelings attached to the pillars. As I looked at one of the pillars, letters appeared on the floor around it. On one of them, there was the name of an old classmate who is currently in Switzerland, I think.

Sigh

Dream: Monk

Random dream, except for this one symbol.

Me and Mom walking the streets .. going home. I spot a monk in orange robe sitting in the lotus pose, at my right. With my left hand, I signal Mom that she can go ahead. I stood in front of the monk and took the opportunity to stare into him. He seemed to be a regular monk who had reached bliss but wasn't enlightened yet (there was minor darkness in him). For the rest of the dream (did not last long), the monk was my object of meditation.

Dream: School

Trying to sleep but popped up at a lecture again. Gonna try my very best to ignore it and get some sleep, instead. One of those dreams again (recurring).

The teacher tried everything she could to get me to participate in the class. I started to wonder about it - if she's so serious about it, then it might be important that I participate? Though, it's an arts class and art is very low in my list of priorities.

At some point I decide to at least try and do something mediocre. Nothing too fancy. The teacher says that it's too bad that the class is over. I reply that it doesn't matter, I would finish it after the class. The teacher succeeded as I realized the point of these school dreams. It's not about the form (school), it's about making use of everything that is offered whether it's compulsory or not. In particular, this dream taught me that since I was having a lucid dream anyway, I should utilize creativity instead of just sleeping it off.

Dream: Snake

Random dream, except for a snake that I saw in the corner of an office at work. For some odd reason, Mom was sitting at a desk next to the corner. While at first the snake was taking a nap or something, it started following me from the moment I saw it and warned Mom about it. The snake had a yellow skin and it came at me pretty fast. I turned around and started to move away but the snake bit the cloth of my pants on the left heel. I managed to leave but felt selfish for leaving the snake in the same room with Mom. By the time I returned, Mom had somehow killed it.

Integration

Not a dream. I was a unhappy about my lack of spiritual progress, and concentrated a bit more. Enjoyed the Saturday by writing a test report and listening to the wind outside.

Was nervous again because there are a lot of things I have to do. Flying to Italy again, too (work). Semi-meditated a bit, then took a shallow nap. Got a call that the flight was cancelled.

Perhaps also a bit related. One day I felt tired after lunch, and decided to take a nap at work. Went to the balcony, laid down and started feeling floatiness and a pull out of body right away. Didn't leave the body because I wanted to keep the nap short. I had been waiting for a package and I got the feeling that it arrived (it did). Perfect timing.

Thick field

Dream: Thick field

Landed at an airport somewhere in Colorado, I think. There was a group of us that had to hold a meeting somewhere. Somewhere less noisy than the airport. Someone from the group had access to a meeting room at a military installation and brought us there.

Waved at the guard on duty and entered some kind of a security scanner. At first I thought it was just a regular X-ray scanner but it wasn't. I was fascinated by what it felt like - it was as if I was suspended in a thick field of energy. I was a bit worried about any potentially harmful effects on the body but most of the energy only penetrated the surface of the "body" (or whatever it is in a dream). It caused a slight tingling sensation. As I walked through it, it felt like walking through water, or perhaps, through a bio gel refrigerator.

Asked the guard what kind of a field is used there. He described the properties of the field, which in my mind associated with a bio gel refrigerator the most.

I had spent quite a bit of time in the field, and after leaving, my "body" produced quite a bit of sweat.

Very interesting..

Staring owl

Last night for the first time, I visited a particular colleague. Actually no longer a colleague, either. I've never actually visited him. On Saturday I think I accidentally caught a glimpse at his soul. A very thick mask that seemingly sets him apart from his family.

Dream: Owl

We chatted for a while in the darkness (well, it was night so it's normal that it was dark), then he showed me where I could spend the night in the living room. He happened to glance at one of the windows and said "Oh look, an owl!" Anyway, spent the night on the couch. He always wakes up early in the morning, so I woke up too. He went to make tea and some breakfast. Started putting socks on and stuff, noticed how difficult it was. The dream / astral body is not really used to clothing, I guess. He came to the living room to ask me what I would like for breakfast, I guess. Then he happened to glance at the window again, froze and said: "WtF, the owl is still there, staring!" The owl was not my creation (it was as if only he noticed it), so I tried to normalize it: "Perhaps they have a nest there or something?" A bird nest appeared above the window due to the positive feedback loop. I disappeared. Projection clock said some minutes past 4 AM. Yep, he wakes at 4 AM.

I wonder what the owl was about. It just sat there on that branch, looking into his apartment. Basically, the owl was the only symbol with a meaning in the otherwise mundane dream. It seems that dream dictionaries disagree about whether it symbolizes just wisdom or whether it's a bad omen. I assumed the former but judging by his reaction, for him it might've meant the latter.

Dream: Eyes

Woke up somewhere, checked a mirror. Eyes looked very unrealistic. Probably because I semi-subconsciously expected them to (realistic eyes are supposedly difficult to model in an astral body). Difficult to verify anything with all the positive feedback loop going on.

Hackathon

Although I was a mentor, I still lacked sleep. Not because I lacked time for sleep, but because I found it difficult to relax the racing mind.

Other than mundane coordination and quickfixes, managed to teach willpower and concentration to one guy, I think. Accidentally also helped one guy learn the lesson that "being really someone" amounts to nothing during a hackathon.

The last evening I handed over some leaflets to the winners and decided to catch up with others from our gang. They were taking rollups from ground floor up to our room, which was on the 6th floor on the other side of the building (two corridors and an elevator). Walked up to the corridor, looked around and since they were reaching the other end of the corridor already, I decided to run to catch up with them. Previously I have observed the aerodynamics of the posters on the walls, and I know that there is one door that opens into the corridor (dangerous for running) but there's most likely nobody in there. Felt like the typical physical limitations wouldn't apply this time. Started running, then accelerated, accelerated more and went just slightly beyond the typical physical limits of the body. I was in socks, without shoes and would've been silent if I hadn't had the large backpack with things moving around inside (as well as posters flapping on the wall behind me). At some moment, the Jiu Jitsu girl looked back and "Holy sh*t, did you see that?" Stopped and started braking, or, basically just slid with the socks on the polished concrete until I had closed the gap. They took the elevator, I ran up the stairs (though, nothing abnormal about that) because the elevators are slow.

TL;DR: Sometimes I've had the feeling that I could run abnormally fast (no air drag, fast motorics, barely any effect on stamina). It's a small feat before the almighty light-stepping, floating, levitation .. and probably blowing around like the wind.

TwOBE

Was tired. Failed to extract cat from the room. Closed the door and went to bed anyway. Somewhere through sleep I remember sister opening the door and letting the cat out.

I guess I had caught some cold. Stomach was at dis-ease, due to which I woke up at around 3 AM again (same thing happened yesterday). Focused on the central channel, which got psi flowing again so that food would digest and I could resume sleep. Felt better.

Felt lighter. Semi-subconsciously produced a squeak-like sound and lifted off the bed by perhaps 50 cm. Slowly descended back to bed, shifting slightly away from the pillow .. afraid to hit the back of my head against the plank at the head of the bed. Very smooth but I suspect that the body plunged into deep sleep right after comforting the stomach, so that I basically just levitated out of the body. This also explains the squeaky sound - ejecting from the body often tends to produce an astral (non-physical) sound. Moreover, I didn't notice a blanket while levitating - so, I must've gone through the blanket which should be far easier without a body. Interestingly enough, the realm seemed identical to reality, which had not happened that often during my OBEs. Was so happy for a moment .. well, sigh.

Another very specific sound - like breathing in through a half-shut throat. Woke out of body. Stood up, looked around the room and touched things. Similar to but not quite my room. Like a messy pull request between my old bedroom and the storage room that is there at the moment. Anyway, stepped over things on the floor and looked around for a mirror. Sister had removed all of them. Well, raised my hands and looked closely at my palms, then. Very realistic, and persistent as well. Shifted my palms relative to each-other, until I found that the vein patterns formed a shape that should be easier to remember and verify against the physical body. Returned to body for shallow dreams.

Took a shower at work and checked the veins on my palms. The veins are not as clearly visible as they were in that dream / OBE. But it's pretty clear that the vein patterns did not match. In the physical body, the vein patterns make a bit more sense. Haven't really looked at the palms from such a perspective.

Dream: Shielding

Background

Posted this on the forum yesterday:
Related to the Otherlife movie, which reminded me of some old dreams from perhaps 10 years ago or so.
All of them had a "dungeon master" presence or some kind of a being that had designed the dream and observed my behaviour. The dreams were always designed to keep me preoccupied with something for a specific amount of time (until the alarm, typically). Some examples of what they tried:
  • Taking my own memories of places, other people and trying to create drama in there. Their representations of the places and people were always off, though.
  • Taking my memory of a place, and putting something in there that would catch my attention. For example, a piece of electronics or some kind of schematics or something. These guys did not know electronics nor could they draw schematics. They also tried with mystical-looking languages but rushed and also messed up with those.
  • Suppressing my memories and stuffing me into a cell, smirking to see if I can find my way out.
  • Replacing my memories with fake ones, confronting me and pointing out that I've done something bad. They then observed the internal conflict, hoping that I would take the bait.
These guys were pretty pissed at me because of how complicated I made their task. At least, that's what their emotions betrayed. They always had to come up with new dreams in order to avoid me waking up because it was their job. One night I woke up with the body still half-asleep and caught someone whispering things to the subconscious mind. Haven't had anything of the sort ever since.

Except for a bit different case, perhaps. Woke in a pretty dark realm with memories replaced. Lived in a wooden building and the townsfolk had figured out I was a witch or something, and came with pitchforks and torches and stuff. Created a chain of portals, each one to as bright a realm as I could imagine. About 30 portals later, I could remember that I had simply gone to bed and fallen asleep.

Has anyone else had similar dreams?

Shielding

Went to bed, visualizing myself in a warm pool of psi. Woke in some kind of a room with red walls. Sensed the intent of a psychic attack. Drew shields and maintained focus for until the focus of the attacker waned. Woke up and checked time. It was about 3 AM, I think. Fell asleep again and experienced very bright and vivid dreams up until the morning. Flew around a lot, had fun discussions with people and stuff. Each time I woke up, I saw the grid of light overlay. Even though I hadn't slept much, I felt pretty refreshed.

Varia

Minor precognition. Thought of taking headphones and listening to music while on the bus but felt like another colleague was going to take the bus. Enjoyed a nice discussion.
