Boscovich's "space and time"

From "From Objectivity to a Unified Theory" by Prof. Dr. Konstantin Meyl.

Jesuit priest Roger Joseph Boscovich from Dalmatia in 1755.

Boscovich was a professor of mathematics and theology in Rome and spoke about the world, on the other hand, being deformable, similar to rubber, but on the other hand, we are not able to perceive this effect, because our body is made of the same material and obeys all changes. "In an absolute way, we can neither recognize the place, nor distances, or orders of magnitude", Boscovich wrote in his book on "space and time" and how these are perceived by us. He suspects that the Earth, unobservable for man, "is respiring".

This greatly reminds me of how Owltwelve and others on Shirak's forum felt space-time while practising psychokinesis.

I'll try to find papers on Boscovich's work.

Faraday's unipolar generator

During the holidays, I experimented a bit with a variation of the Faraday unipolar generator from another one of Meyl's papers:
http://www.rexresearch.com/meylscalar/FaradayorMaxwell.pdf

Basically, a rotating permanent magnet, with one brush at the axis, and another one at the outer rim of the magnet. I re-used some pieces from a previous generator experiment.

Despite the fact that I tried it at a rather miniature scale (magnets of either 1 cm or 2 cm diameter), I got an output voltage which depended on magnetic field strength and magnet diameter according to Faraday's induction law. I didn't have a load on the output and the signal was rather noisy, though. It was probably that noisy because of misalignment between the motor and magnet axes.

I found it more interesting, though, that as I moved the motor + magnets away from the brushes, the signal remained (with reduced amplitude). The output amplitude displayed dependency on the angle between the axis of the motor + magnets, and that of the brushes.

While K. Meyl and a few others seem to suggest that the Faraday unipolar generator in such a configuration would not produce changes in the magnetic flux, I would guess that it still might. I think that in a permanent magnet, not all the magnetic domains are perfectly aligned, and that one could consider each domain as an individual magnet with its own edge / rim effects. The magnetic domains at a distance from the spin axis, however, would indeed have translatory motion and could potentially cause a change in the magnetic flux. But then again, the change would probably not be very large, and would average out.

Disregarding magnetic flux, there's also Lorentz force on electrons which would be on translational motion due to the magnet spinning. How this would be interpreted from the perspective of Meyl's vortex physics, I don't know. Would need to play more with vortex physics.

An interesting experiment, also showing a difference between the magnetic field at the middle vs. around the rim of a magnet:

The same dude also experimented with a gyroscope:

By the "Tesla motor," he probably meant the classical Faraday unipolar generator in which a copper disk is spinning in a static magnetic field (clicky).

Ideas from dreams

There have been a couple of thought-provoking (in my opinion, at least) dreams which I've meant to post about.

Dream: Interpretation of a black hole

I was working on something while someone approached my table from my right and asked how I thought a black hole worked. I then described an idea based on the assumption of an aether (officially disproven in late 1800s). Moreover, it assumes that aether has friction against mass or charge.

You could take a mass (probably charged) and gradually spin it up to an angular rate high enough to close the loop of rotating aether. The closed loop would be the event horizon.

Dream: Grounding issue

I was debugging some kind of an amplifier for some kind of a measurement equipment. Hooked it up and found that its output saturated sometimes when I moved magnets or something ferromagnetic around. Realized that the device did not get good enough ground connection through the cable. Attached auxiliary ground and it worked without issues.

Engineers typically consider common mode effects a nuisance. However, maybe for some zero-point generators they could be quite important not to filter it out.

Detachment: No you won't

On Tuesday evening I got the feeling that a specific member on that Discord server had died. Tried to help her pass on in my mind, and went to bed.

The next morning it felt like that member was alive. I failed to find any particular details which could've indicated a parallel realm. So, in the end I was just left confused as to what happened.

Detachment

While walking to the bus station on Thursday morning, I decided that all the unnecessary burden was a bit too much. Detached from everything. The moment I did, my left eye started to hurt and water. A bit further and I couldn't go on. Installed glasses to keep the wind away from the tears. This helped me go a bit further but eventually had to stop and rest the eyes before I could move on. Through a practice of willpower and concentration (I noticed that whenever I applied both, I could temporarily force through) I made it to the bus station. Applied eye drops against inflammation. They didn't help. Waited a bit for things to improve but things gradually only became worse.

Decided to turn around and go back home. Had to greet an acquaintance on the way which I found a bit embarrassing. Struggled hard to keep one of my eyes open for periods long enough not to be run over by a car or bicycle, and to avoid bumping into other people (or streetlamps posts). Took breaks every now and then. The longest break I took at the beach and in my mind's eye that's the spot where I left the burden.

Eventually made it back home. None of the old tricks helped and things only got worse until Sunday morning. Again an inflammation of the left eye with a fever. There was a constant pain with periodic nerve pain and spasms on top. Standing or sitting pose with both eyes closed was the most comfortable. Any tilting of the head caused the pain to ramp up.

Edit: Due to the timing of it all (missed a family Christmas party), I was forced to tell my grandparents (and thus the whole family) about it. This made them worry about me, calling me every day, asking for a status report. This, however, is the main reason why I haven't told them about previous health issues.

Desire to sleep

The pain was a bit too much for me to just go and face it right away. Tried to find ways to sleep without laying down. In that I failed. After about two sleepless nights like that, I wasn't able to hold my head up while sitting (kept falling asleep only to wake a split-second later in pain again). I became aware that the almost constant darkness, pain (and probably fever, too) were starting to get on my mental health. In my mind's eye I was already experiencing 3-4 left eyes having pain in different places.

Eventually I had to face the pain and "enjoy" it for long enough to become used to it so that I could at least sleep for a couple of hours or so. While quite a feat by my personal standards (especially since the pain was beyond anything I had experienced before), this was a breakthrough.

OBE: Playing four

I was "playing a game" of being 2 male and 2 female people somewhere in the dark alleys of maybe Tokyo or someplace similar. These people had no past nor any future. They were just there without knowing anything about where or why they had come from, what they were doing there and so on. All of them were in separate places and it was their interactions with other people which for some odd reason I considered to be of interest. While I only "saw" their shadows, I think they were all dressed in trench coats and shoes similar to what was in fashion in the 30s.

Different perspective

"What kind of a sick fantasy is this," I thought and woke up into pain and darkness. I could not remember who or where I was, or why I was where I was and I could not open my eyes. It took me some minutes to regain my memories again. It could have been that some of the body was still asleep and the memory was still cold-booting.

Went on the pilgrimage to wash my left eye with fresh water (as opposed to applying eye drops) and take some tea. While the trip was painful, I found myself more-or-less content with my life (in comparison to the sick excuse of a dream I had woken from). It is actually possible that a part of the pain was from over-usage of the eye medicine which did not work due to fever.

Once I got back to my bed, I thought I could see the spot of pain on the pillow. "A concentrate of pain," I thought, and realized that a pretty flower can only grow from a good (well-balanced) soil. While probably possible through a lot of effort, a pretty flower could be grown on a bad soil, it would be a waste of resources. Asceticism had suddenly lost its glare.

It also occurred to me that nowadays the fundamental physics is built on the assumption that charges must be in balance for things to be stable. However, if we assume that this universe or multiverse allows for mutually exclusive things to be true simultaneously, then such an assumption might not hold. It could be that some charges are properties of one universe, whereas some other are properties of another, etc. Or perhaps some of them are a part of the underlying structure supporting the universe whereas the others are a part of this universe. Will not try to elaborate on this here too much. Will just note down that the idea spawned from an assumption of a finite universe within an infinite one.

Healing

Decided to reduce the pain by actively focusing on relaxing the eye and the nerve strands which were tensed up due to inflammation. Laid back in the concentrate of pain and started going nerve through nerve, trying to relax the eye. Got half of the eye back to normal and managed to sleep some. Then continued the work. It took 3 iterations like that, with the far corner of the eye taking a bit longer.

But at least now I could open my left eye without mopping the floor (or soaking the blanket or pillow) with all the water that came out.

It made me really happy and a bit proud also (for once, healing was actually useful and worked).

Clairvoyance

Since I was practically blind for several days, I used the opportunity to improve seeing with without the eyes.

While it did work occasionally, and sometimes it worked beyond my expectations, there were also cases when it did not work or worked but did not produce any useful results. Quite often, the skill provided at least some persistence between quick glances of the surroundings.

Some observations:
  1. With the point of view being from a random place (and sometimes changed between consecutive attempts), it was sometimes difficult to assess the distance to objects (and grab them with my hand).
  2. Sometimes the view was not aligned to the body (I was standing at an angle to what I saw). This got me really confused and I managed to get lost in my own room.
  3. Sometimes I saw things morph around or look different from how they were in reality. For example, I saw my feet stretched out when in reality they were not.
  4. A sudden change from a dark room to a well lit room dispelled the skill. Things seemed to have worked better in dark rooms and hallways, but maybe also because of the signals from the physical eyes confusing the brain.
  5. Regardless of how clear and detailed was the vision, I did not see all objects. In particular, I think I mostly saw objects which I had interacted with the most. For example, I could see my mug and a box of cookies on the kitchen table but completely miss the bag of cat's biscuits right behind the mug.
  6. Sometimes I saw light shining through gaps or cracks which I would have found difficult to see with my regular eyes because of it being really faint.
  7. In some places I saw some kind of glowing objects. One such object was attached to a corner of the blanket. I could only see it with my eyes closed but not with any of my eyes open.
Based on some other experiments with consciousness and its features, several of the issues with clairvoyance seem to stem from using a very powerful tool without properly configuring it first. Seeing with one's eyes closed is a rather simple use case for conscious shaping of one's consciousness density function.

Edit: Forgot something important. A couple of cases which I personally found interesting.

After applying eye drops (in a tiny bottle), I tried to put the bottle back to its place. In doing so, I used my left arm in a somewhat inconvenient pose (horizontally beyond my head which was on the other side of the back of a chair). Once I accidentally dropped the bottle. I managed to catch it before it reached the floor, without seeing it. And even if I had somehow seen it, I would have probably still missed it because of the inconvenient pose of my arm which would have messed up the whole motorics coordination. However, somehow such a feat was possible.

Once I was trying to reach a tissue on the floor. I had not paid any attention to where I had left it, so I was somewhat surprised to see (with my eyes closed) that it was far away from the others. Without opening my eyes I picked it up and it was actually there.

Shop visit

I had consumed almost everything consumable in the fridge. Went to the shop to buy something more. Felt really weird, but I guess that can happen after being blind for about a week. For one, I had to re-learn how to walk normally. The shop with all the people and signs was surprisingly overwhelming (even though I knew it would be).

I noticed that for once I relied more on intuition than on eyesight. I suspected that I had broken the plastic bag and instead of shrugging it off I went through the effort to determine where it was that I had broken the bag. This confirmed that I had indeed broken the bag without noticing it. While I wasn't aware of it at first, I somehow had another bag in the jacket pocket so I distributed the load.

Got to a traffic light and instinctively started walking towards the button even though the lights were already green. Later it turned out that I could only make it halfway across the crossing (intuition was right again).

Glowing cat

Slept a lot yesterday and still felt quite tired. As a hypnagogic image I saw myself looking down on the cat on the floor, looking up to me.

There was also something similar to an astral projection experience where I moved through the apartment. I noticed that the lamp in the corridor was very dimly lit. Wondering why, I went closer. While this might've been overlay already, I saw that the lamp was covered with pieces of cloth so that it would not shine that bright at night.

Today morning I saw the cat glowing red from underneath his fur again. This is at least the 2nd if not the 3rd time in total. This kind of vision faded away in maybe about 10 seconds or so.

Built Hamel's oscillator (clicky for Steven Dufresne's version) yesterday / today but similarly to what was stated in his book, neodymium magnets tend to be too strong for it. They dampen the oscillations too much. I thought it wouldn't be that much of a problem given the distance between the magnets in my setup.

Analogues

Read a bit about black hole analogues and found that I had already read about the experiments but simply their interpretation could be different. I would not call these black holes but I like the thoughts which such interpretations tend to provoke.

Also, Sandra and Woo is sometimes really nice.

Blood sugar

Regarding the blood sugar, on Thursday morning the cat ignored the biscuits and by the evening he had spilled them across the floor. So I decided to start training the cat's appetite for another type of cat food which he doesn't typically really eat (but should be way more healthy). No more biscuits for a week.

The next day I thought I would avoid eating too much sugar. Well, life has a good sense of humor. By the time I got to the canteen (just 9 min late) and had waited the queue, there was no more soup left. So I had to take a dessert. The dessert (chocolate cake) was so sweet that I did not want anything sweet for the rest of the day.

Short bus trip

A couple of days ago at lunch a girl A came and described Hameroff's and Penrose's quantum consciousness. I was hesitant to discuss such things in the presence of other scientists, and told her that it's a long story and that in my opinion there was no way science could ever hope to get to the bottom of consciousness. Then a former colleague B joined the table and said that science could very easily explain away consciousness, for it was nothing more than a firing of neural synapses (or maybe also religion and philosophy but that was all there was). Well, I don't think anything else would have proven my point as well as this former colleague did. These things can't really be discussed openly yet. And I suspect that if they could be discussed openly, then my presence in this realm would no longer have a meaning.

Was expecting transportation by car, and had planned my route and time so that I would reach friend's place by the time we had agreed. Turned out I still had to take a bus, instead.

Anyway, this girl A and a colleague C of hers also took the bus back to town. As I had guessed, C had a somewhat similar mindset as B did. However, C seemed just a bit more open-minded and there was a bit more time during the bus trip so I tried to sum up some of my experiments and findings.

It was nice, and I did not mind talking about such topics with school children around. There was, however, a guy who sometimes turned around and looked back at me. I suspect that he found the topic of interest. Or maybe he was annoyed by some dude so blatantly blabbing about these things.

Ideas to improve the world

Discussed some business ideas with old friends. One of the friends told me that my business ideas were too down to Earth, and that he would have expected them to be something on the Moon or Mars. To be honest, I don't think that would make sense. Moreover, if I'd want to change the world then by making a business (which would obviously aim for profit) would not be my approach.

Dream: Moon colony

The idea was probably spawned from the discussion of business ideas.

Anyway, people had put up a bunch of domes on the Moon and were building things inside. There was scaffolding all over the place, and people climbing them, moving stuff around and so on. Quite a bit of action, and then some mischievous lad took the nozzle of pressurized air and blew on the regolith. A lot of dust rose up, contaminating the space for a while. I looked at the arc of larger pieces of the dust falling down while the lighter dust remained afloat for longer.

Then some guy came and "showed" me what he thought was even more interesting. Note that in dreams people can share things they visualize in their mind. He showed me a rotation of water causing a whirpool, and then told me to visualize what happened when I applied a counter-rotation to the other side of the whirpool. Instead of water I associated it with electric and magnetic fields, and started to wonder about it.

Triangular contraption

Replaced the sheets and managed to get 7 hours of sleep last night, yay. Shall describe one of the dreams in the subsection below.

Today I've been feeling rather tired. At some moment also felt very uncomfortable at work. Sat through the feeling, some tension was released and a wave of heat raised up the body, starting from the stomach / abdomen.

Mentioned in the comment of the prior post that I met another friend while I took the packages back from the lab at "X". He was trying to get a Chinese motor controller working. A lot of messing with the wiring, and then the motor swayed to one side, then to the other and so on, due to the periodic switching of polarity.

Dream: Competition

There was some kind of a science experiments / electronics gadgets competition and for some reason I was in the committee. There was a stage, chairs for the audience and the auditorium was surrounded in a black cloth.

The first person to demonstrate his work was a former colleague and a friend. From the looks of it, he had built it on a whim, with a single night. I think it had some kind of a triangle and a circular / elliptical electromagnetic coil at one of the corners. Instead of really demonstrating it, he just handed it over and told us to power it.

We did, but it didn't seem to be working. I did notice that some of the stuff on the table started resonating with his device, dissipating the energy which I thought the device was supposed to accumulate. So we cleared the table of irrelevant things.

When I looked back, I think the triangular object had replaced with something which looked like an aeroplane gyroscope with its motor + some driver circuits. Fairly typical of dreams - things morph into something else when you're not locking them with constant attention. When I looked back at the power supply, it had replaced with a rack containing a signal generator and a power amplifier.

After switching it on at the resonant frequency and cranking up the power a little, the device started spinning / oscillating with an increasing frequency. Different nearby objects occasionally got into resonance with the device but these objects were now far enough not to dampen the oscillations of the device itself. I think this device, too (like in almost all similar dreams), started drawing more power from the amplifier than what I had turned via the knob.

I half-expected it to keep going until the device itself, the power amplifier or the signal generator blew their fuse. However, to my surprise the system stabilized just before it reached the limits of the setup and I think it became self-sustaining.

The first experiment and I was already so amazed that I would have given the maximum points.

Enclosed space

After visualizing unconditional love and warmth around the heart chakra, got sick again. Soaked the sheets with a lot of sweat and had to make tea a few times during the night. This seems to indicate that there is indeed truth to "pain is just weakness leaving the body".

Anyway, went to work in the morning. Was a bit tired and slept while at work. While waiting in the queue at the canteen, I realized something.

Psychology of meeting oneself

Yesterday evening a colleague "asked" an interesting question. Or rather, he wondered if any psychologists had analyzed what would happen if a person met themselves on the street.

I thought that probably I would not get into a fight, but it would be a nasty experience. I then had to justify my opinion.

When two people work together / or just spend time together, they have to attenuate some of the personality traits. Only then would they be able to work together and complement each other. Now if the two people go separate ways, one would start to compensate for the lack of the other. This boosts personal development by enhancing personality traits which were otherwise lacking.

However, if I were to meet myself, then both me's would have the same traits. In order to spend time together or to work on a project together, both of us would need to suppress a lot of our traits and in the end neither of us would learn anything new.

Thought monologue of philosophy at the canteen

Let's take a person from the previously mentioned Discord server of depressed people. Chances are very high that the person would be suffering from depression, lack of self-esteem and hatred / hostility against themselves. Some try to compensate for the lack of self-esteem with arrogance, some look for relationships in the hopes that these would somehow magically save them.

As Gruber and EX3US from the same Discord server independently pointed out, it's isolation which causes depression. It could be a narrow field of interest such as Anime & Manga or psychokinesis, as Gruber pointed out. EX3US even emphasized that at least to some extent, the isolation is a conscious decision. People choose not to participate in social events which do not seem interesting enough. Soon after, they may notice that they are having less and less friends, and so on.

Let's now take mankind as a whole. Mankind has hatred, hostility against itself (all the wars and the "brilliant" ideas to cut down on population). Mankind is arrogant (only life-form in the universe), which might be an indication of low self-esteem (so insignificant in the vast cosmos). Maybe mankind also suffers from depression (we are a lost cause ruining our own planet and the space around it for selfish reasons)?

Hereby I assume that people compensate for what they have lost. If we take a person and isolate them from the society, perhaps we can obtain a good guesstimate at what mankind as a whole is like?

I found this to be mind-blowing. But then I started to wonder if this had any connection to the "microcosm" thingie, which I've heard about a lot but it has never really made much sense. If the universe is holographic (take a small piece and it reflects the whole thing), then what would we get if we separated a small piece of space-time?

If the underlying structure of the universe were the fabric of consciousness, then the same logic should apply to both people as well as the universe? Would the separated / enclosed piece of space-time evolve to become an independent universe? Are particles like bubbles of foam in space-time?

What is it that could be used to separate space-time? Would it be something akin to the dark veil? Is the golden fog merely dense consciousness, and the dark fog a thin consciousness? If so, then it should also be possible to have enclosed realms which could be completely cloaked?

A lot of interesting thoughts and follow-up questions. Would be interesting to test the hypothesis that by enclosing a piece of space-time, it would become a universe in itself.

More respect towards Hamel

Wind has seemed rather responsive to intent recently.

Yesterday morning when I enabled 4G on my phone, its battery suddenly plummeted from around 80% down to 0, causing the phone to shut down. The battery is over 6200 mAh and has never acted like this before. Luckily it worked again just fine after recharging.

Today morning the cat looked at the ceiling lamp with great curiosity. I noticed that it was making a strange rattling noise. Looked at it but didn't notice any flickering. At some point the sound just stopped.

Recently I've been reading "The Granite Man & the Butterfly" on the bus to work and back. Amazing, but I guess it's a personal thing. For me it ties David Hamel's work together with that of Viktor Schauberger, A. H. Bahnson, T. T. Brown, N. Tesla. It also goes well with the experiences of Billy Meier, those of my father, as well as those of my own. Moreover, the book brought back some of the enthusiasm which I had forgotten.

Grumpy granny on saucer patents

Actually before watching Kimi no na wa, I had watched Texhnolyze which had a very sad ending but it hit the same spot as Kimi no na wa. Texhnolyze is very dark and bloody, so I wouldn't recommend it.

A part of the desire and emotions that I mentioned in the previous post, were about flying saucer patents. After reading quite a few of them, the passion decreased considerably. For me, most of the mysterious shroud has been lifted and I think I have realized at least the following:
  1. The reason why we're driving around in cars instead of flying around in saucers:
    1. There are plenty of problems that are still not easily solved with today's physics and technology.
    2. While there probably is technology that solves these problems, most of this physics and technology is still way beyond mainstream.
    3. In general, nobody cares because there's old and proven technology already out there and it's way cheaper to keep using it instead of funding sketchy R&D for tens of years.
  2. Most of the patents don't hold water, as it's just some inventors wishing for the big fish without having even tested a proof of concept.
    1. Well, I also haven't tested the proof of concept so I shouldn't be the one labeling something as "probably pollocks". However, most of the effects are too weak to produce enough thrust. At least one of the inventors actually mentioned this in one of their patents. All of his patents were about tricks to improve the thrust.
    2. Most of the patents are about the utilization of a single effect, without considering all the other factors. Most of the patents are still about ion wind, which would only work in lower atmosphere.
  3. A lot of conspiracy nuts (just like myself) are blown away by just images from patents instead of actually looking into the patents. I find it hilarious that among patents of flying saucers, there's at least one patent on a generic UFO-shaped amusement device for kids.
  4. Mainstream science is way more correct about things than most conspiracy nuts (including me) like to think.
Hmm .. or maybe I'm just becoming old?

Don't get me wrong, though. I'm convinced that by combining mainstream physics, there would be enough thrust for small vehicles. For sure it'll make for an interesting hobby. Also, while at it, might just as well find more pieces of the puzzle for actual anti-gravity.

Dream of flight

A summary, written during fast times.

Too much media. Probably family will be pissed about me not notifying them about my appearances.

One morning I saw through the closed eyelids again, with a matrix of light overlay. As I opened my eyes, I still saw the matrix for a couple of seconds or so before it faded away.

Yesterday I had the chance to meet a mind that thinks alike. He had not done as much research and was a bit reckless but it's rare to find people with enthusiasm about the taboo topics such as UFO, ZPE, anti-gravity and so on.

Yesterday I put forth some effort to compensate for my sleep deprivation. Today morning I fancied flying in dreams. Flew around a bit, enjoying the freedom. Woke into another dream, still desiring to fly .. realized I've been practising it wrong .. and flew across the street. Saw my supervisor and decided to descend next to him for a quick chat. Walked home, and he transformed into father, I think.

I wish I would become fluent in flying around on all layers of dreamscape. Of course, including this one that they call reality.

Edit: Recently I've also found a lot of power from folk music. Wardruna, Hu and the like. Similar to what uncle's band used to produce.

Introversion

Spent the weekend in Latvia. Some kind of a supervisors and trainees event. 8-hour bus drives. Finished the Buddha's biography. Showed the book to some colleagues, students. One colleague considered it too religious (I found it strange). I showed the rear cover to the student from India because the book had been written by a buddhist community located close to his home.

During the event, each of us had to introduce ourselves and say something personal.

One student said he likes to practice mindfulness meditation. Asked him about it later. He said he uses it for very specific reasons: stress relief, improving productivity, increased happiness, etc. He said "advanced meditators can induce self-hallucinations". I said "advanced meditators can induce hallucinations that become a collective reality". Then discussed some OBE and pk stuff. He left and did not talk to me again. Yup, I came across as a looney but whatever.

Another student said he likes gaming. Asked him about it later. He said he's planning to develop games much like what his brother is doing. He also had a strong interest in manga and anime. I listed the titles of some of my favourite anime, most in japanese. We were both amazed at my memory. It later turned out that almost everyone in his family had tried dowsing. He was quite open-minded about pk stuff.

I said I didn't know what personal I could say about myself. A colleague suggested "conspiracies", so I just highlighted that. On our way back, I found a great conspiracy (thanks to reddit, ofc): http://sentinelkennels.com/Research_Article_V41.html. Basically, back in 2000 John Cadman performed the fluid dynamics and acoustics analysis of the Giza pyramids. Based on some old photos and measurements, he made a replica and it worked as a hydraulic ram pump. However, being a pump was merely the secondary function. It also extracted hydrogen and produced electricity. Amazing. When I saw the underground chamber with the fins, angled holes and so on, I caught a glimpse of what it might've felt like to design and build such things.

Got engaged in a discussion about QLED displays, only to realize that my colleagues (physics PhD students) haven't even heard of quantum dots, and find them sci-fi-like. Also discussed metamaterials with a material physicist (one of the trainees) and found that he had also missed out on most of the wonders of material science.

Tried to share the big find (Giza pump) with others on the bus. However, I doubt anyone has even clicked on the link in the past few days. While on the way back home, I re-realized the encouraging effects of my old mantra: "I'm alone in this universe, and except for myself, there is nobody to understand me." This relieved a lot of tension again, and encouraged me to keep on going. Weather became cold and rainy, though (opposed to the record-hot May).

Was asked to a corporate sauna yesterday. Said "probably not" at first, as I saw it as another opportunity to practice the mantra and humility. The place was awesome, actually. Great respect for the nature there .. very humbling. Suggested a way to approach the task of coming up with a long-term vision for the company. It could be seen in their eyes that they opened up to a whole new way of looking at things. Discussed some future trends as well.

Pre-delivery meeting with the client and prime of a project. The project where I've been alone for about a year. It was idle for some time, now need to work on it again. But also need to work for the company, as well as supervise students .. and this year I need to find time for a vacation. That sweet mantra would allow to improve concentration as well as get through these tough times.

Minor geists

Cat is painfully bored. Today one of the cat's toys hit the floor and started rolling towards me. However, the cat was on the other side of the apartment and the toy rolled at 90 degree angle from the cat's line of sight. At first I thought that sister had tossed it and it had bounced off her shoe, which caused the 90 degree turn. Threw the toy and noticed that it doesn't bounce .. too soft for that. Psychokinetic cat? Cool.

Recently there have been a few geisting events. A loud bang here or there without anyone in the vicinity, or something hopping off the table right in front of my eyes (in that particular case, it was a clothespin).

Edit: Toaster started buzzing pretty loud. Started headbanging to it. It then became even louder and produced a sound a bit similar to an electric guitar riff before suddenly becoming more silent again as one slice of white bread dropped a little.

Prediction of near-future events has been pretty good.

Babylon 5 is pretty awesome, and yet quite predictable as well, I think. Yay for space! Though, stumbled upon some exciting conspiracy stuff as well.

Tower of golden beams of light

Yesterday evening sister came home and made me a gift - a Kyanite crystal. Cool, I haven't thought much of crystals before. Remembered that I even have a book about crystals that I haven't read. Thought of putting it somewhere safe so that the cat wouldn't play with it but it seemed that's not the way crystals are meant to be treated. I want to practice pk on it sometime.

Last night there was a pull out of body. Experienced interesting hypnagogic imagery, but forgot many of them by the morning.

MiniDream: Golden beams of light

A tall tower (I think) with people that had a thick beam of golden light going up from their heads (from the crown region). Couldn't see the tower - everything was pitch black except the people and their beams of light. There was an upward pull towards infinity where I think the beams of light merged (seemed parallel). Realized something about zero-point while writing this down.

MiniDream: Grandma

In one of the short hypnagogic experiences, I visited grandma (the other one). Uhm .. that's about all I remember.

Cleanup in dreams

For the past few days, I have seen a lot of dreams about cleaning up or renovating old buildings or rather, having the old buildings renovated.

Dream guardian

Sister has an allergy to cigarette smoke. Luckily none of the family smoke.

Came back from Saaremaa. Built a phone-controlled robot with the kids there. Arduino really makes things easy .. it took just 1 day to get it driving. Then 0.5 d more to add structural elements and improve on it.

Checked O12's post on the nature of space-time by HoverBrothers (youtube video). While the idea seems very good, the video does not convey it that well, in my opinion. Although I liked the hints  Stephen Wolfram's blog post does a better job. Intuition indicates that he's pretty close. Got really psyched.

Follow-up dreams

Having come from Saaremaa, my false-awakenings defaulted there.

With a colleague, we designed some kind of a device for a client. The next morning, the colleague handed me his prototype. Tested it, and found an unexpected side-effect - it had anti-gravitic properties and shifted around in space. It consisted of a couple of powerful coherent RF transmitters and some kind of a resonant tube between them.

Woke in a bed (not mine). There was a beautiful piece of art on the floor, and a girl sitting next to the bed. The picture on the floor had a dark space background, full of distant galaxies and nebulae. In the foreground, there was a pretty girl with a cigarette. The smoke of the cigarette faded into the distant nebulae. Something about that smoke did not seem right, but at first I tried not to let it disturb my sleep. I think there was a computer screen right next to the bed, and the girl sitting next to the bed, was watching something there (so I thought). Anyway, laid back to bed but the smoke from the picture on the floor rose all the way to my nose, and irritated the nasal hair or something. In other words, not good. WTH .. stood up, looked at the picture, and mentioned my peculiar observation to the girl. The girl covered the picture with her palm, and started erasing it psychically. Tried doing the same, but soon realized that I had become too rusty in pk. Instead of helping, I made it more difficult for her. So, I let go and soon after she had erased the smoke, the ciggarette and the girl from the picture. It was now just a picture of space with distant galaxies and nebulae (not a shadow left of the erased girl).

Embarrassing .. couldn't even take care of myself by wiping the picture myself.

Dream Training

Holy cow. A very interesting read:
http://thoughtlessness23.blogspot.com.au/

Pretty cool ideas, especially with the virtual clones, unifying the consciousness of mankind and so on. Although it should be taken with a grain of salt, at least some of it seems plausible.

Also, it might elegantly explain the dreams that I used to have many years ago. Recurring dreams of being locked up in a box with no way out, with false memories. Whenever I figured out it was all planted and fake, they became angry at me, sighed and quickly fabricated another dream environment with different false memories. Their dreams became more and more sloppy and at some point I stopped having these dreams. They then found that it was easier to keep me in dreams with content that I found interesting (pieces of electronics, schematics, working principles of fictional technology). Though, soon after I was also recognizing those in just seconds into the dream. Stopped having those dreams as well.

I also recall one night when I suddenly became lucid straight from the deep sleep state. I realized that there was someone speaking in my mind, attempting to brainwash while I was unconscious.

Apparently I've been mistaken in thinking that I have achieved some spiritual success on my own. Perhaps I owe a lot to these guys for training me in lucid dreaming, willpower, dealing with critical situations, etc. =)

Last night I visualized myself as a warrior, with the powerful tools: the mind, and the body. Took a pose, focused on just being there, and felt energy building up and flowing up the spine.

Stable portals

Mayhaps not as exciting a summary as the previous one, but it's a post.

Somewhat exhausted from the week of heavy focus on work. A lot of sleep and daily naps. Sleep cycle is pretty messed up. Enjoyed a long chat with Mom about previous lives, space-time and collective dreams.

Oh, but regardless of feeling exhausted, it seems that productivity has not dropped. Or at least, not much. Patched some pretty serious bugs today.

Cat return

Cat was found a couple of days later, the next morning after Mom asked the cat to return in her mind. Climbed the tree and took the cat down. Cat was very humble, so perhaps I was wrong about thinking that the cat had fled for a feline nightclub or something. Perhaps he just fell down from the balcony, after all.

Space-time

Apparently my suspicions were right - her real issue was not physics and math, it was spiritual.

Regardless, stumbled on this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/6o8bue/the_amount_of_quantum_vacuum_fluctuations_that/

This goes amazingly well with personal experience as well as with what I read from Steve Richards' "Invisibility". Though, it shows that my ponderings about finite vs. infinite universe were pretty far off.

Dreams

Took a group of random people (colleagues, friends) and explained what I had found out about portals. Organized an excursion through a few places. This time the portals were stable enough to let a whole group of people through. Showed them a place after a place, while discussing stuff with some of them who displayed deeper interest in these things. However, at some moment I realized that I had led them into a wild area. Had to fend off entities. Alarm rang or something. Anyway, woke up.

Someone else organized an excursion through a heavily guarded area for me. Claimed it was safe because almost everyone was on vacation. "If something were to happen, you could climb down this vent here." I tried the vent and fell .. into the exact same room. Sensed somebody coming. Casually sat down behind a chair, trying to think myself invisible / unnoticeable. A dude entered the room and seemed to have been oblivious of me being there. Woke up.

Will do this

Although there is no time, I feel like posting at least a summary of events.
I'm more-or-less left alone on the project, so need to do the full-time job of at least 3 people. Regardless of the fact that the crunchtime marathon has gone on for months already.

The way to cope with this is: f*cuk it, I will do this. As deep absorptive focus as possible, on the task at hand. Then at night or during breaks, relax the mind and every muscle of the body. It's also important to have the state of mind that "This is the current status of things. I have the chance to make things even better." In other words, there are no bad situations, there are only situations that can be improved.

For one, this has gotten OBEs and lucid dreams going. Also, it has become easier to maintain celibacy.

Learning the elements

One night I decided that I would fly about till the morning, so perhaps some of it would stick when I woke up. Flew a lot, but a moment later I was interrupted. I was shown to some exercise grounds. I understood that in addition to just flying around, I would need to learn different elements. The environment was unearthly - unrecognizable flowers, unrecognizable animals. There were some kind of circular plates in the ground, each with a picture on it. I guess I passed the first one (or first two) so quickly I didn't even notice what they were. There I was, with the symbol of the previous plate in my right hand, standing in front of another plate. The plate had the shape of a mountain and some arcs symbolizing water. I put the symbol from my right hand on top, and started finger-painting it out so that the original image would be restored. It was like finger-painting in mud with different colours. Finished, I walked past a puddle, went uphill and noticed a more reddish zone to my right. In these exercise grounds, one could not just move from one zone to another. One had to enter through a chain of portals that might lead to the next zone if allowed to. While walking along the fence of the zone to my right, I heard something walking behind me. Turned around and saw two animals that looked somewhat similar to ostriches. Grabbed a camera and took a photo. The animals perceived this as a sign of danger, but oddly enough started running towards me (with anger) not away from me. I put the camera away and they stopped immediately. They realized that I was not a threat. Enjoyed the glimpse of a pretty sunset for a moment, and left for the portal that might take me to the next zone. It did not. The dream became incoherent.

Has anyone here played From Dust? It's an awesome game that probably influenced my dream.

Skewed portals

Mom visited us (all the way from Spain, yay). Spent a night trying to explain portal dynamics to mom and sister. While I had managed to use the same portals to go to the same place several times over, none of it worked right when I got others into the dream. The portals became very unstable and started pointing to other places.

Levitation with gravity assist

Many more flying dreams. Though, one of them stood out. Me and an ex-friend walking the corridors of a large building of some kind. I tried using walls and corners for gravity assist. Ended up going faster and faster, afraid of splashing against the next wall. Pretty fun, though the speed got a bit frightening in the end. He was not that amused about it.

Space-time

Another night that I intended to redirect my nervousness, worries and anger into learning something new .. wanted to figure out how space-time works so that I could work more efficiently. Perhaps a time-warp bubble around me, so that I could stretch the working hours from 13 hours to several days.

Nothing happened.

Yesterday an old acquaintance suddenly messaged me with a physics / math problem about maintaining stable wormholes. This, in addition to her personal realizations about the fabric of space-time, similar symbolism from old texts and a lot of other stuff.
~"Nah I don't have the time for this."
~"Shut up and absorb the info."
Well, alright.

Catscape

On Sunday evening, the cat encountered another cat and went nuts. "Dragged" the cat home. Next evening I found my soldering station cable chewed broken. Locked the cat out of my room. Cat escaped through the balcony (a refreshing fall of 3 storeys). Welp, cat's own choice. Choices have consequences. Thunder and heavy rain for a great many hours.

Electrostatic batteries

Addendum to the previous post.

For example, producing electret batteries and testing them properly (shock, vibration, thermo-vacuum, radiation). Would be neat to have teflon-based electrets (low outgassing - also suitable for space applications), but teflon has a high melting point and apparently its fumes are a health hazard. Could also try plexiglass, grinded plastic (ref). For vacuum, it could perhaps be encapsulated in epoxy.

I wonder if a Van de Graaff generator could be used to maintain the electric field while the dielectric cools and solidifies again.

Found hints of experiments with thermal electret batteries in low voltage high current applications, too:

Interesting stuff. In any case, this is just one example of potential directions to work on.

Pff girls

Back in town.

While painting the walls at aunt's, she asked if I've found a girl yet. When I said "No, I don't plan to," she preached about the pros of creating a family and having children. This initiated some kind of an internal battle in my mind, due to which my focus has been a bit foggy recently.

The thing is, I have nothing against finding a girlfriend (a wild witch whom I wouldn't want to marry no matter what?). I love kids (perhaps could adopt some?). But the regression into full materialism with 20 years of delay in spiritual development .. why would one desire that? Sure, living with a wife and raising kids is a lesson on its own but it's a lesson one gets on every reincarnation, right? However, spiritual enlightenment would be a lesson one gets once in thousands of lifetimes. Thus, I wonder what this internal battle is about. The case is supposed to be closed already. The fact that my focus became foggy because of that, means that there's something there that I'm being ignorant about.

Anyway, took up reading Steve Richards' "Levitation" on the bus. Love at first few paragraphs. Socialized with the book instead of chatting to the pretty girl sitting next to me. Perhaps that's the ignorance .. which I'm somewhat proud of. Sigh. Uhm .. a good example of the dead-end pattern of thoughts, which always arrive at the same topic. The book seems awesome. The author referenced a lot of levitation cases and a few over-unity engineers that I hadn't heard / read about before. He also explained Einstein's theory on gravity fields in a way that had me realize something about the simplicity of anti-gravity and levitation.

With focus on the chakras above the head, eventually the space thickens and starts to pull the body upward. With focus on another chakra within the body, the space thickens there, and it becomes possible to push or pull the body by moving the thick egg.

Edit: Sorry, I guess the post ended up a bit sexist.
